Rheinmetall Canada is a proud member of Germany's Rheinmetall Defence Group, one of Europe’s largest suppliers of systems and equipment for the armed forces.
With approximately 250 employees at locations in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Ottawa, Rheinmetall Canada has demonstrated expertise in the development, integration, and production of platform-independent systems for more than a quarter century.
As an established player in the Canadian defence industry, Rheinmetall Canada offers innovative solutions for vehicle integration, weapon systems, air defence, and electronic systems. We also customize systems to the evolving operational needs of military forces in Canada and on selected international markets. Our capabilities include long-term, in-service support for our broad range of solutions.
We are the prime contractor on several key programs of the Canadian Forces, including the repair and overhaul of the Leopard 2 A4 training tanks and the 40 mm Close Area Suppression Weapon, the army’s digitized 40 mm grenade launcher.
