21/07/2011: CASW Project – News from CFB Gagetown

Last March, Rheinmetall Canada has reached an important program milestone with the completion of the in-cadre training of DND instructors from the CFB Gagetown Infantry School.

Following the training, our customer has expressed its full satisfaction for the training given by Rheinmetall Canada’s instructors, and was impressed by the performance and capability demonstrated by the Close Area Suppression Weapon (CASW) system.

To underline the introduction of the CASW (C16) within the Canadian Forces, a video has been prepared by the Department of National Defence during an internal demonstration event of the CASW system executed by the CFB Gagetown Infantry School.
